Before i get into it
I just want to let you know
I'm a bit broken i admit
But i don't want to make you go
Your heart is gold and rare
Its precious beyond belief
But treat my trust with care
My past still causes grief
I'm young but i know what i need
I want happiness and i want peace
I want to share a life to lead
My need for love will never cease
You glow like the morning sun
Your gaze makes my heart race
Like a runner at the starting gun
I'm finding it hard to control my pace
I want ourselves to grow
And I'll be patient and wait
But i do want you to know
My minds in a fragile state
