Yin Or Yang
Where is your grace now?
Now that there's no more ground to plough.
Trying to find anything to bury.
Because this burden is too much for you to carry.
Keeping me locked in here.
Locked against everything that used to be austere.
Looking down at the rocks below.
Knowing that soon, my drop will be slow.
Everything is so complex.
When we focus on the objects.
The possessions that are untrue.
And the skies that are no longer blue.
Where is your hope now?
When everything you loved, you disavow.
You've dug underneath.
No longer baring a sheath.
Only to find, that it wasn't the ground.
It was only this sound.
Keeping me here.
Safe upon this fragile pier.
The sound of you succeeding.
The voice of you exceeding.
Everything you thought couldn't be done.
Everything you thought hid from our sun.
You leave now with grace in your chest.
And hope beneath your breast.
But you're still not complete.
Fulfilled with too much deceit.
But I follow you.
Through and through.
Knowing that nothing can be wrong.
When in the end, there is always a place you, too, belong.
