Yet More Truisms From Down Under

If you chase death, it might not be your life that is cut short. Don't put your keys in the same pocket as your cell phone. One source for news heralds only one outcome. Communities make cents, governments seldom see sense. If you want a job done, join the ques. We sometimes underestimate the size of the shadow we cast. A genuine smile can warm up a room. Fraudsters like companies that are understaffed. Apron strings tied with a bow show running away is not the only way out.

Thanks Victor. Myself and family are fine. Our second daughter has gone back to work, 25 minutes walk from home, flexible hours good pay (Dad home) we see grandson often. Poetry flowing and have a slot in local paper probably regular (unpaid), cancer still at bay. No friends or relatives lost to covid. I am alive Victor or I think I am. All the best David in NZ where hope is still possible if vigilance stays the course.

Hello there. I liked your poem My favorite line is, "We sometimes underestimate the size of the shadow we cast" That's so true. Be careful how what you say or do can sound to another. It could have a darker shadow that wants to stick around. There is someone I wish I could say that to in my life. "A genuine smile" I will give out free today.
