Yesterday's Song
"yesterday's song"
yesterday's song continuously plays
it starts and ends in the same way
I'm still waiting for tomorrow's song
telling me hope is near and strong
somewhere between yesterday and tomorrow
I finally hear the music of today
a tune to make anyone fly away
now with thoughts that twirl
within "the sound of silence"
yesterday's song plays once more
revealing darkness a closed door
