Yesterday's Dreams

Yesterdays dreams seemed so long ago,
Yet somehow when I look in your eyes,
You seem to understand and know.
We were meant to share so many places
In tine,
You always knew you were always on
My mind
You knew that you had my heart,
I knew we’d be together and would never part.

There you were my knight in shinning amour
To save this lady fair,
And I was your raven haired maiden who
Would love you beyond compare.
Now we we stand as strangers here,
Though I know you fell what I feel,
Yet you still hesitate to come near.
Come and look in my eyes and see the
Past,
Take my hand and follow me
Where we’ll be together at last.
