Yesterday Today Tomorrow and Now
“The now we live, the to-morrow we scan,
The present we touch, the future we plan,
The seeds we sow today, in sturdy soil
Will sprout to-morrow from our shining toil.” By author,

The day`s orb is smiling in golden bright,
A moment held with a clear open heart;
Let us inhale fresh air to cleanse our lungs,
Listen to sparrows` sweet songs on lush trees.
The wings of time fly fast and do not wait,
They slide, immutable beyond the space,
Let woeful worries from the past depart,
Let`s embrace the now before it`s too late.
Let us cuddle the present with our will,
Diffuse words and deeds of kindness around
As tomorrow, playground of charlatans,
We may not sight the sun shining again.
If we are at distressed crossroads of life,
If apple of our eyes has quitted us,
Let the morning sun instil in us strength
To make a new start now, not tomorrow.
Yesterday is the shrine of history,
Today is a present of the divine,
Tomorrow is shrouded in mystery,
Let`s make the best of the now, when sun shines.
