Yesterday

Yesterday is just a blur
But in a moment of reverie
There are bits I can recall
Floating round my memory

Modern life is overwhelming
Everything is moving fast
Rushing at such rapid pace
That my brain is left aghast

Past and present mix together
Time is all askew
With so much information
What is one supposed to do?

I've given up on keeping up
I've well and truly hit the wall
To preserve what sanity I've left
I've decided to ignore it all

You say that I am being fey
Disconnected from reality
But I'm far happier in my fog
Than trying to keep up currently
