John 5:47 (KJV) But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? Even the stars twinkle and sigh, Breathing their sorrow, their desperate cry, An ache in their heart, clear down to their soul, Despairing of hope, drawn to the night, Sensing the wrong in death’s distant fright. Listening, the silence bleeds into the soul, Stifling the darkness with self-control, Sing your songs of praise, blessing our Maker, Who knows your music as heartfelt esteem, He brings hearts hope and reigns supreme. His miracles remind us He is the best caretaker, Without Him as King, most are simply a lawbreaker, When the time comes, I hope He sees in me – His love, Reflecting all the hope and peace that comes to life, Within my heart where He destroys all my strife. With grace that abides, forever alive, I always speak of, Music so soothing, rhythms stirring the angels above, Wherever I go, wherever I’ve been, despite this world’s sin, I know that, in time, He’ll surely abide with me in paradise, Where He shall reign, forever the way – He paid the ultimate price. Though I know the beautiful of His creation, how His love can spin, Blessings out of faded dreams, joy that can’t even begin, To reveal the amazing in His grace, the peace in His gifts, Wherever He goes, there I find hope – abiding deep within, And, I know, despite all the unbelieving souls, faith in Him will win. Through darkness and despair, I know He’s there – He always uplifts. Thanks to His love, and God up above, I don’t worry about what-ifs. I know Him as my Savior, my Way Maker, the light who stirs my faith. Because He is mine, I try all the time – to be a woman who is grateful. He is more than a King or a Prince… He is never rude or hateful. Thanks to His light, which shines through the night – I know He saith… Listen and believe, hope and receive, this love is in good-faith. Because He lives, and tenderly gives, I will forever live in heaven. Without a doubt, He made a way out of the hell that awaits unbelievers I know Him as light, hope, peace and love – And, YES, I’m one of the believers!

a powerful, inspirational, and spiritual poem, Gina. Every day you amaze me with your poetic writing skills. Your voice is unique and speaks of your faith and belief in God. I agree with the quote in the image: God's grace is enough--even when in pain, anguish, and self doubt. enjoy your day, hugs, Sara
