Notes About The Poem

Yes Dear

Yes Dear
by M. Griswold

For those married men out there.
Those ones who mistakenly dare,
To argue with their wives so fare.
Showing them how much they care.

Don't be so stupid, isn't it clear.
She's always right without any fear.
So just sit back and open a beer.
Because all you can say is "yes Dear".

Doing anything else other than that.
You're in for trouble, a lovers spat.
For she will fight you like a cat.
And win in the end, that is that.

Whether wrong or right she'll be clear.
You better answer her quick "yes Dear".
Knowing that, you answer without fear.
For you have the last words, "yes Dear".
