Yellow German Love Letters

There is a blanket of yellow love.
She wrote to me of it
In an unleavened light letter,
Where my god is your god, and
Sudden drops of bereavement
leave a love nest of hands,
Making certain you knew you were part of the whole,
A vibrant pulsating joy button.
Your hands are there to hold not swat.
"Bread" in German is "Brot."

unusual, abstract write, kind of cramming of disjointed lines that could be put in any order, yet underneath all the metaphore i think i sense something... yet can`t grasp it,.. perhaps explain what a yellow love letter is ? ..

When I wrote this I was very conscious of not trying too hard to connect things, or even find a larger meaning. I wanted to start with an intention, but then let my mind wander, unencumbered by the need for structure. I'm not sure what a yellow German love letter is, but it sounds nice, both out loud and conceptually.

And on the other hand I sort of see the letter as a heavenly spirit we all struggle to summon. Thanks for your thoughts!
