Notes About The Poem
Dear Poetry Soup Friends,
I will not be posting my long poems for a while, due to a severe storm in my area, which has damaged the internet lines in parts of the city. The crews are working on the problem, but it's uncertain when service will be restored-maybe as much as two weeks. Best of wishes, Evelyn
Yellow Blooms All Day
tulips and daisies
in butterfly wing shadows
of red in meadows
in green bluebird field
unfurls fair black-eyed Susan
in the gold season
midst the twilight trees
sunflowers and buttercups
lie still 'til sunup
