Yearning
I yearn for you
when you're
not near me
so I can
see your face,
hear your voice,
be in your presence.
It's a feeling
that's hard to describe
but you
know what it is
as you wait
for the next time
you will
be together
with the
one you love,
deeply care for
more than all the
materialistic treasures
on earth.
