Yeah I Know

Put downs fall from the sky like snow.

Slowly but painful.

"You're good for nothing!"

"Yeah, I know."

"You won't be anything in life, you know!"

"Yeah, I know."

"You're nothing but a dumb kid!"

"Yeah, I know."

"You're worthless!"

"Yeah, I know."

"Wow, I had no idea!"

"Yeah, I know."

"You're pretty good."

"Yeah, I know."

"You really have a gift."

"Yeah, I know."

"I've always believed in you."

"Wow, that's something I never knew."
