Yahweh Come Save the Day

Author Dana Redricks November 29, 2024 (An R&B Gospel Song) Verse 1 We rise and we fall, we refuse to hear Your call, Forgetting all the wonders You have done. You see things for how they really are, oh, You've brought me so very far. Like a shining star, You call us to be, more like You, Lord, shaping our destiny. Chorus This world wants to drag me down, to be like Satan, the fallen star. But this world is passing away, we’ll meet You one day, Savior or Judge. The choice is ours to make, if we delay, we’ll get lost along the way. Please lead me, this day, Yahweh. Verse 2 I’ve wandered roads where shadows stay, but Your light has never gone away. You’re the potter; I’m the clay, mold my heart to see Your way. When the world pulls me to stray, Lord, draw me back, I humbly pray. Chorus This world wants to drag me down, to be like Satan, the fallen star. But this world is passing away, we’ll meet You one day, Savior or Judge. The choice is ours to make, if we delay, we’ll get lost along the way. Please lead me, this day, Yahweh. Bridge Yahweh, Yahweh, deliver me today, break these chains, show me the way. Yahweh, Yahweh, let Your love overflow, renew my heart, make me whole. Chorus This world wants to drag me down, to be like Satan, the fallen star. But this world is passing away, we’ll meet You one day, Savior or Judge. The choice is ours to make, if we delay, we’ll get lost along the way. Please lead me, this day, Yahweh. Outro I pray You deliver me today, Yahweh, Yahweh. Please mold me like clay, Yahweh, Yahweh. Let me see things Your way, Yahweh, Yahweh. Oh, come and save the day, Yahweh.
