Xmas ushers hope, as dawn breaks
Beginning of new age
God’s son descends; our dead heart shakes
That we turn a new page
We may become as He
In carefree, joyous spree
Shedding lust and envy
Helping man to cope
Xmas ushers hope
~~~
Xmas ushers hope, for mankind
Feel heart aglow beckon
Like Jesus, free from ego bind
The time’s now to reckon
We are not mind-body
Let’s discard thoughts shoddy
Love and light embody
With love let’s elope
Xmas ushers hope
~~~
Xmas ushers hope, if we shift
In resonance with love
No longer in desires adrift
Head and heart, hand in glove
Jesus has shown the way
Trust God; with each breath pray
Making love our mainstay
Cease to strive and grope
Xmas ushers hope
