Wrong

I want to tell everyone that this poem is fiction but deals with a very real topic that many
people girls and guys face everyday and it is very serious. It is about rape. If you suspect or
if anyone tells you that they have been raped then you should get them to the hospital and
you could also contact a organization called RAINN,the Rape,Abuse, and Incest National
Network. They deal with these cases everyday and it is just so heartbreaking of how many
people deal with this terrible crime.
Here are some statistics for you- 1in6 women and 1in33 men will be sexually assaulted in
their lifetime. College age wome are FOUR times more likely to be sexually assualted. Every
2 minutes someone is Sexually assualted in the U.S. Well here is my poem and hope that
you all will help out or learn more about this crime and RAINN and reach out to all of those
who have had any type of sexual assualt against them.

The fire runs deep
pulsing through her
vains. But something
is off and not right.

Hands, rough and hard
No! No! No! "This is
not right" she thinks
It should be different

She wakes up alone in
a bed that's not her
"Where am I?" she asks
herself. No one is around.

What happened to Ryan,
Her boyfriend no where around.
And the party. Realization finally sinks
in deep to her core.

Oh no! She breaks down
and cries. Who can she tell
what will people think?
Her parents would kill her.

But then she remembers...

That wasn't Ryan! She cries even
harder now. Who was it and why?
She remembers last night now.
The force the wicked smile on the man's
face. What did she do to deserve this???

Nothing, nothing at all. Nothing she did was
wrong!
