Whenever I’m feeling all alone and abandoned to my thoughts; I listen to the leaves rustling in the trees chatting with each passing breeze, discussing notes written on the wind. Inscribed with invisible yet vivid inks of hopes, dreams, and loves, both won and lost; silent secrets and life’s frustrations are aired. These subliminal notes work to remind me that I’m alive, aware, and conscious of my surroundings; the author of My Destiny. Nothing in life is preordained; in reality we start life as a blank page in an empty book, waiting for free will to fill in the lines drafted from the plethora of notes time’s pinned to the wind. And when my life ends, death will erase all but the wind.

Hmmm...well, that's one way to look at it, Emile, but I believe that death cannot erase any of us until what we left behind is no longer remembered by anyone.

Thanks, Milt, it is a nice thought that we will be remembered, but billions of souls have been and will continue to be erased by time, for memories last no more than a few generations before they fade into oblivion and are no more, as life's cycle of birth and death continues, my friend, Emile.
