Written In the Time of Something

“Written in the Time of Something”

“Insignificant you are, don’t you know, this is the time of Nothing.” She said.
“I am?” I replied.
“In the time of Something, you will read, what is the Becoming. Believe.” She said

“What then?” I questioned the solemn silence.
“Perdition.” She responded."For a little while, in Insignificance." She Said.
“It's in the blood, don't you know? It is written by slow minds, insignificantly, the stories are read by their fast declines”. Someone said.

“Never by I.” I said.
“I am quick, I am clever, I am hidden in the Never.” She said.
"True. The story that matters, is unseen." He said.

“The minds behind the eyes reading - are disjointed, ambiguous, exploring, out of time”, he said.
“But will they find what they are asking in their writing, their questions in their minds, finally answered?” she said

“Maybe in the time of Something.” He said
"Maybe." She said.

Written and very well read.

as we drift through the different realms of our own existence and contemplate the meaning of it all could we ever understand our own conclusions of what it has been all about or will we dream of what could have been if only we had chosen different paths, yet it all is folly for we chose what we chose because we are who we are, and unlike a maltese falcon we aren't what dreams are made of we are only the imagined proof of our dreams existence as we open and close the doors to its room

....if they send me back to repeat it all over again, I shall then think that this life has indeed been a bad joke...

The story in Poetry that matters is best left to the artist that writes from the heart guided by light, not by darkness. The story in Life that matters - is if it is well lived, has purpose, believes in truth and justice and knows we are but in a transition stage my friend. This was a very interesting and enlightened piece that stirs my imagination and gifts fire to my creativity and urge to compose today. A fav.. Thanks...

Yes they certainly walk with both. And can write with both but the light tempers the edge in how deep they delve into the darkness. Master Poe, showed how one can get lost going into the nether regions too deep. As there is no reliable information of how he died, was it murder, was it robbery, was it a curse that followed him? One should have an anchor of light -if they chose to write in the dark realms, imho. I myself, have three such anchors my friend.

Currently reading Tim Winton...again, "Dirt Music". This writer has the "Gift"....big time. A must read. All of his stories. But this one...the best. In all of us ... a story, monumental. Sharp. ;)
