Writing Saved Me
My writing is way to escape from this world that I live in
Most of my experiences in life I've sat and put it on a page
My writing helps me to deal with the various emotions I feel
it helps to calm me when I feel like going into a fit of rage
I have seen many hearts destroyed and then thrown aside
when pain came my way writing brought me through that phase
I had to face a rough life growing up filled with many challenges
I felt like giving up on life writing saved me and I was so amazed
I remember when my child was brought into this world it was magical
the feeling was wonderful as I got home I ran to put it all on paper
and I can't forget the day I met the love of my life it was really special
throughout the day I kept reminding myself to ensure I write about it later
After the bank took my house and later I lost my wife and also my kids
Writing saved me at a point when I felt lost and I was about to go insane
When I put pen to paper I am able to release everything hidden inside me
My book and pen understood me because inside is where I store my pain
I remember the day god picked me up and I stood on my feet once again
I wrote about it with all the details included the experience was so amazing
He even gave me an angel which is a blessing a woman to call my wife
I wrote about her like a box office hit in Hollywood she got the most rating
I even regained my beautiful smile I no longer walk around with a frown
I was happy and at that point I took my book and poured it out in writing
and when life taught me that no matter how hard life is don't ever give up
I knew I had to write something telling people don't give up without fighting
It was a challenge getting where I am almost thought I wouldn't make it
and I wrote a poem which spoke about me loving how my life really looks
and I don't plan on keeping them to myself I will soon share with the world
the day I get the opportunity to write and publish my very own books
