Writing Poetry In a Coffee Shop

Writing Poetry In A Coffee Shop

In the corner of a coffee shop I know,
The sharp aroma of coffee fills the air.
Among lowered voices subtle rhythms flow,
Poetry in the cadence of voices there,
Finding rhymes from vibrations in the air.

Wow Barry. You did well with this one! I don't think I could have written something so beautiful with distractions in the mind of a coffee shop. :)

Thank you, Heidi. Coffee shops are my favorite places to write poetry. I find the background murmer of voices stimulating, (and the coffee). // Barry
