Writing is My Therapy

In the quiet of my mind, a river flows,
Not from here, nor there, just where creation knows.
With every stroke, I find my way,
A voice emerging in the light of day.

This is who I am, a writer’s soul lay bare upon pages to be,
Ink of truth and dreams that make me.
Just be yourself, it whispers in the night to me,
A glimmer of hope, and the bulb clicks on.

Never lose your own style, it’s your flare,
A fierce reflection of your world laid bare.
No one knows you better, hold that truth tight,
What lies within your mind, is a radiant sight.

Find your own voice in the chaos and clamor,
Dance with your words, let them become your banner.
Don’t pretend to be someone else, break the mold,
Your story is precious, let it be told.

Express yourself, let the world take note,
With ink, with passion, in every word you write.
You are beautiful, wonderful, just as you are,
A constellation of dreams, you're a shining star.

No need for limits that others impose,
You possess the power — let your spirit compose.
The only one you can’t run from is you,
Cherish your journey, embrace all you do.

So, if you wish to switch it up, don’t shy away,
Explore every journey, let your heart be moved.
Writing is my therapy, my haven of peace,
In every letter, my soul finds release.

Here I stand, unmasked and alive,
With every word penned, I learn just who I am.
This is my truth, my own sweet refrain,
In the rhythm of writing, I break every chain.
