Writers Block Is a Myth

Writers Block is a myth it isn't real
You just have a lack of imagination and are currently unable to express how you feel
There are hundreds of things to write about, So don't limit your list
I don't want to offend any other writers, But writers block is a myth

I can't always express how I feel or what I'm going through at the time
So I'll create a story, or write about something that happened a while ago
I'll open a dictionary and point to a word, then style my flow
Writers block doesn't exist, if you open your mind

Sometimes as poets we're scared Our new work won't compete with our old
So we'll use the excuse of writers block and the world is sold
Other times, people rush their lines to get a poem finished quicker
But I could write about a blank wall and still paint you a picture

A dictionary full of words, you don't have an excuse to not use them
Pick one, learn the meaning, then move the pen
Pick any subject, gain the information and write it out
Then you'll see writers block doesn't exist, if you don't limit what you write about

Writers Block is a myth it isn't real
You just have a lack of imagination and are currently unable to express how you feel
There are hundreds of things to write about, So don't limit your list
I don't want to offend any other writers, But writers block is a myth
