Writers Block
What if I don't know what to write? a student says to me
Just use your imagination, I said and write about the sun and the sea
Write about the sun sets
Write about your favorite pets
Write about you touching the moon
I am sure you'll find a topic soon
But I was wrong oh so wrong
That boy stayed at his desk for oh so long
We were both stuck for ideas both he and I
We stayed there until the black dark sky
That student and I experienced writer's block
As a teacher it was quite a shock!
