Writers Block

Will have a read of your poem. I sometimes think I have a ghost writer as I seldom rewrite and once a theme or idea comes it just flows. Sometimes too I just feel compelled to drop everything and type. When I have a block I ask people to give me a subject that was how the poem What will the twins make of Harvey came about. I asked our neighbor who knows my relationship with Harvey and that twins are due, she suggested the subject. thanks for reading , David

At present I am on a roll, but you are right. There were years when I didn't produce anything. I read a lot and sometimes one book is all one has in them I guess. I authored a book on my 30 years as an ECE teacher called 'Suffer the Little Children'. I may or may not do another book. I guess it is like any undertaking, we can get bogged down with coming up with something that needs to be perfect. Also passion ebbs and flows. Like your pseudonym by the way, very apt.
