Oh, the wretched grief father, it haunts me each day,
I think of you in moments so you are always in my heart;
father, you were a simple man but a very great man,
you never hurt another human being and were kind to all.
Teaching me many things along our journey, of nature and life,
things like to do my very best always- to never burn my bridges;
that, to back down in a fight is not weakness- but a strength,
and that life is like chapters in a book . . .
