Oh, the wretched grief father, it haunts me each day, I think of you in moments so you are always in my heart; father, you were a simple man but a very great man, you never hurt another human being and were kind to all. A marvelous tribute, but I am still weirded out at the possibility of trying to create an Elegy.

Caren, thanks for visiting, Elegy poems are not for everyone, that is why I have given many themes to select from, and 3 different forms hope you give one a try ~

This is an example of an Elegy for my Writing Challenge 1, April 2019, Its All About 8. This is one of three forms to use and one of eight themes. Hope you will give my challenge a try.
