I was wrapped in autumn's embrace ~ as she shed her withered leaves of lace her gown was crimson and gold ~ autumn's reverie in meadow and wold* she travels upon windswept chords ~ in apple orchards and fields of gourds autumn nights beneath a harvest moon ~ I hear haunting calls of a loon *hilly region

A brilliant quartet of rhyming Monokus Lin, so adeptly put together, with fabulous imagery in each one, and a nice old English wold, very rarely seen on the soup, great one for contest, cheers David

Thank you a bunch, David. I've read many books set in English, Irish and Scottish regions. I've always loved the languages and use words from them occasionally... do ya ken, lad? Rhyming Monoku are a fun challenge for me.
