Notes About The Poem

Poetic form: Tanka Prose

Woven Worlds

Two worlds grip my heart --- the carnal and the divine. Faith* upholds my soul midst gratefulness to the Lord for redemption. Good health moves my body for reaching-out pursuits. Here am I praying for the strengthening of my physical and spiritual life, since dysfunction occurs if any of the two gets wearied or debilitated…
countenance does smile
eyes exude mirth of a babe
	     heart throbs with blest peace
worship brings revival surge
   ministry impacts prevail

*Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

As we get older and, or endure physical disablities, some things are harder to do but most can do something within their boundaries. I am having a problem with a tendon in my wrist. (oh what Jesus must have suffered!) Us women have so many chores to do so I just keep doing what I can. God sees you and your beautiful soul, dear one!
