22 Ancient Healing Symbols to Accelerate Your Healing Journey

like a butterfly with my pretty wings wounded ~ I try to flutter When my soul is bruised and beaten down, and my heart injured, scarred and bleeding: I fold what's left of my broken wings with a sigh, as feelings of emptiness overwhelm my life; for I need to heal within and be reborn beautiful. I need to find the healing power of green, in nature's harmony of new growth and rebirth: enthralled with the trees swaying in the wind, and wildflowers in hues of healing lavender; I am soothed with the balm of serene grace. And then, though still wounded my wings open, and with a quiet sigh I gasp with great happiness: there is still a hurt, ache, and grief but also joy, so I throw off betrayal, tears, and fear- and I soar; for this was a spiritual journey to find the true me.

Though wounded in life, you feel you are not defeated. There is grace in you to drown all your pain and despair. Though your wigs are broken, with grace and consistent efforts you are able to spread your wings and soar high. Darkness accentuates light! A beautiful poem.

Your poem is a soulful and captivating read. The first line tugged at my heart. I especially liked 'I am soothed with the balm of serene grace' and 'still wounded my wings open.' I am left breathless and the vulnerability you've expressed about your spiritual journey from grief and sorrow to a place of peace and authenticity. Fabulous contest entry. You have such wonderful skill as a poetess. Enjoy your evening, Sara

So touching and soulful dear Constance, this hits so strong, and i felt so many emotions as always reading your poem. Sometimes amidst all the scars and grief we carry within, we somehow find light and strength to go on! Beautifully delivered in such an evocative manner. Made me sigh! You are a warrior. Dear Constance, your poem eloquently captures the essence of resilience and inner strength amidst adversity. I love your metaphor of the wounded butterfly seeking healing in nature's embrace is profoundly moving. It speaks to the universal human experience of overcoming pain and finding renewal. Constance your poetic words inspire hope of the transformative power of self-discovery. - Blessings, Daniel
