Would You Run From Me
WOULD YOU RUN FROM ME?
You circle me like a hawk a mouse
Not realising you're the prey
You're so obvious yet elusive
You radiate uncertainty and fear
And longing
My soft curls, my tiny me
Your endearing bravado
Such transparent play around
The open self that I am
If I would take your hand
Would you withdraw it?
If my thumb would fondle
your pouting lips
Would you run from me?
If my arm would encircle
your wonderful waist
Would you jump and run?
Back to that closet I found you in?
