Would Our Image Be the Same?
Imagine our golden image
Reflected from our feet
What if our facial plumage
Was plain as cold concrete?
The feet are means of travel
Our way of changing planes
Why all the pampering of the face
While our feet are wrapped in chains
A face of a human being
Might not be his claim to fame
If he clothed his face and bared his feet
Would his image be the same?
