Worth the Risk

Breathe the life
the love
the laughter
Into my weakened lungs
Grab my hand and save
me from drowning
in my own shame
Revive me,
put the beat back in my heart
Staring steadily at my very soul
as our tender kiss must part
Diving into a warm sea of passion
from these rocky, intimidating cliffs
But I've learned that pain isn't forever,
and that falling in love
is worth the risk...
