Notes About The Poem

Worship

Sunlight warms my emerald Hues, petals soft and tender Graceful beneath the morning Dews, where there is such Pleasure to be treasured Raindrops nourish my hungry Young thoughts with sweet Liquid, caressing and kissing My deepest desires with a Silent whisper of inspiration Rich, vibrant colors of spring Lift up toward the heavens Singing, dancing, embracing The morning, the evening Beckoning the senses to cry Fresh petals, vulnerable Capture the sky’s azure Delights with a sense of Purpose and willingness To listen to the wind’s voice Music drifts across the Hopeful stems, welcoming The faith that comes from Within when morning touches Tenderly down, a friendly hand Reflections of the moment Twirl lightly through my Dreams, breathing joys All around my melancholy Yearnings for the moment Passionate promises bring to me Whimsical sighs from the slow Warm insights found within my Heart, where I meet God’s word His still, small voice – I worship

Your writing draws from so many sources: nature, emotions, colors, experiences, dreams, and you pull it together so beautifully in worship of the Creator. What a talent you have, Gina. I applaud that talent and worship God along with you ~ John

Your poems are so beautifully faithful, some are like prayers others like hymns , but all praise our God the Creator. Haven't heard from you in a while so thought I'd pay you a visit. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.
