World Without You, Lord

YOU are the almighty Creator…
 thus, world without You can’t possibly exist
earth doesn’t have any essence
void of sheer worthlessness surely prevails.

YOU are the compassionate Redeemer…
thus, world without You revolves around selfishness
love becomes narcissistic marked with arrogant altruism
volunteerism with reaching-out pursuits is a matter of show.

YOU are the sovereign King of kings…
thus, world without You is fatally chaotic
survival-angst grips the competitive
control loss anchors disarray toward misery’s turmoil.

YOU are the Sufficiency of my life…
thus, world without You, my LORD GOD, is tantamount to eternal death
cognizant that You’re my breath’s Source, faith’s strength, and soul Saviour
indeed, without You, I’m nothing.

YOU are my gracious Father and Friend…
thus, world without You is unimaginably frightening and perilous
since You’re the Giver of peace along blessings’ abundance
steadfast Sustainer of everlasting relationship freely offered with Your love.

YOU are the Great “I AM” You really are…
You deserve all the glory* and praise
thus, here am I with my grateful, worship-filled heart
triumphantly exalting You, yielding my all to You … my very world.

*1Chronicles 29:11 Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.
