World Within a Verse
My world within a verse:
to fold within that space
(for there the challenge lies)
the essence and no more,
with joy's sweet sigh, my prize.
My world within a verse:
nuanced, enigmatic,
alternate perspective,
dance with the comedic,
entreat or corrective.
My world within a verse:
lyrical and pleasing,
creating ambiance,
triggering emotion,
producing a response.
My world within a verse:
using gifts entrusted,
pointing to the greater,
finding joy in all things,
thanking my creator.
