dread grips world the failure snide zest lambs are calm, top to toe, thinly veiled sorrow on times Cackles are flimsy.

Yes, the world is in the grip of fear.... fear of pandemic and man made miseries like war and terrorism...! Such fears plunge the world in sorrow!

Each new year brings hope, even the hope that the corona virus will be defeated. Your poem is gripping, and says much in a few words. It is written in an interesting new (to me) form. Blessings, Evelyn
