World Off
I press play,
Let the music
Run through my veins.
My breathing becomes
Relaxed; the pressure
Momentarily relieved.
Slowly my head begins to
Rock to the beat.
The notes drift me
Away;
The lyrics disrupt the
Troubling thoughts
Coursing through my mind.
I dont understand it.
How something so simple
Can erase the world.
