World of Darkness

The world dies in darkness The wolves of hate feed on despair Cathedrals of horror Promote hatred The walls we put up around our minds Blind us from reality Those we hate Are living normal lives Just like us And we all want to be loved And yet It is hard to give love Pain has hardened our hearts Capitalism has broken Our spirits It doesn't get better How many think Two days is bliss After working five days a week And we wish for those two days Not knowing We're wishing our lives away And yet We can be replaced At the drop of a dime So darkness breeds in every heart What is the value Of living life When we're damned To die in darkness
