I want to know
I want to feel
The reasoning behind
being real
It doesn't seem
worth the pain
It doesn't seem
woth the shame
Is this what it's for?
To feel empty
and rejected
Is this what it's for?
pain and misery
scabs open and infected
I want to see
I want to realize
why people waste their time
in shameful demise
It isn't worth
the hurt or the tears
It isn't worth
the scars or fears
Nothing is concrete
and nothing is real
we cannot see
what we cannot feel
there's no substantial feat
It's dark
It's cold
and I'm scared
Is this what it's for?
Is this what it's worth?
It's dark
