Works of Time

Conceived by a solitary mind.

Fulfillment takes, life, blood, sweat, tears given by so many.

But still the sacrifice of so many, does not secure the future.

For the onslaught of nature, unlike man is relentless.

And unlike man, nature has time, all the time in the universe.

A moment in time, are the works of man...

Your poem is so simple to understand and your poem's message is so true.

True? We may know one day! Churchill's great speech 'blood, sweat and tears' apparently similar to another defender of freedom speech - Garibaldi's.

Many deep messages here. A lot of hidden, layered truth to this distinct piece. Very nice work!
