Precisely why are we here today working out butts off for so little pay When will we have universal basic income For that, let's get out there and bang the drum Work can be tedious, deadly, demeaning especially when it's arduous scrubbing and cleaning They say that 'Hard work's never hurt anyone' What if we find out ~ They're totally wrong!

Nice write as usual, Gershon. What Rico says just below is true. Everything on those islands costs at least two or three times the price of items for sale in the continental 48 states.

The newspaper this morning reports the stock market rose only 11.8% under Trump's leadership, 12.1% under Obama, and 15.4% under Clinton, but under Obama hit 118 record-highs, with the wealthiest 10% reaping 84% increase whilst 50% of the population reaped zip. Stop watching FOX News! Aloha! Rico

If Biden et al. get their way, the only people who will have to work hard for their money are the middle and upper classes. All others will get their universal guaranteed income, which will no doubt grow larger every couple of years. I don't know anymore, truth be told. Maybe it's all for the best, although I don't think it augurs well for crime reduction at all. Peace, Gershon
