Words That Need To Be Said

It wasn't meant to get this far
Running around, breaking bottles
Around the inner bazaar

You weren't supposed to lose feeling
Not with me, 
A cynical girl, yet still appealing

Baby, I made mistakes I didn't realize
I see them now,
The future causes of my demise

So this me..
In front of everyone
My public apology

Taking down the walls
Of ego
Watching as it falls

I know I get caught up in things that don't matter
I am just afraid
Of what will shatter

You are tired of trying
Okay,
And I am tired of crying

So where do we go from here?

The words "lets just start all over"
Sing in my head

But it's not possible.

And this is me,
Screaming out loud
My apology

Easier to apologize and easier to accept an apology
