Words That Build Us
Godly words expressed to honour the Lord are our desire
While we share His love that’s always on fire
Indeed comforting as His compassions require
Every time we wake up, till when at night, we retire.
Peace-filled words from Scriptures reign over us daily
While we speak about our faith in Christ courageously
Indeed, His calmness conquers fearful hearts constantly
Every time harsh crises surround us tremendously.
Victorious words uphold our freedom from sin-condemnation
While we testify that we have everlasting redemption
Indeed revealing Christ’s grace in assured salvation
Every time we worship Him for His exaltation.
Biblical words of eternal truths prevail amidst difficulty
While we thank God despite troubling anxiety
Indeed, His wisdom encloses with His warm security
Every time He fills us with His joy’s certainty.
Divine words of God’s guidance help us settled
While we praise Him, knowing He has our future jubilantly handled
Indeed directing us against being deceived and rattled
Every time we submit our weary minds, sorely embattled.
Holy words hedge us around God’s presence
While we utter information with good value and sense
Indeed, His standards push us toward noble persistence
Every time worldliness pulls us down by its alluring insistence.
Blessed words keep us in God’s will by His empowerment
While we encourage others for ministry-involvement
Indeed exhorting us toward kingdom advancement
Every time the Holy Spirit works in our great commission fulfillment.
*Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
