Notes About The Poem

Words Frozen In Time

       Poetry sad and artistic,
      With words like a mystic;

The art of my verse is beautiful and deep,

       My whirling words frantic.
      Sometimes just heartsick,

Poems, fragments of life that flow, creep;

                             Like swirling leaves.

       Frozen in time verse,
      Writing can be a curse;

Ars poetica entwined with weeping tears,

      Heart and soul I immerse.
      Tangled journey to transverse,

My destiny to pen beauty is crystal clear,

                          A whirlwind of words.

I came across a prestigious list of the top 100 most published poets here and I am not surprise. Your quality indeed goes hand in hand with your quantity. I'll check one or two more of your works because this has given me a unique satisfaction. I give you a handshake of a definite 7!

You make it look sooo easy! The storyline flows smoothly and the word choices are perfect. It flows like a sassy sea, carrying you to a safe harbor of completion. Nice work. Emile.
