Notes About The Poem

Written August 6 2026 not for contest

Words are Wine

We are weakened by desire
Onyx hair pulled due to frenzy
Red hot hearts set on fire
Dancing in between white sheets
Silhouettes move in passionate groove

Amethyst inhibition free as blue bird
Roses don’t smell as good as you
Eagerly you whisper sweet words

Wonderful is love in this cherry cocoon
I crave our delicious sweet time
Never too late and never too soon
Endless love will always be mine
