Words

I cannot imagine a world without words
we are nothing but animals uttering sounds.

I cannot imagine people humming like birds
or saying tweet tweet, oh how weird.

Without words there's no way we could express
our love, the joy, the sadness and hatred.

Without words we are just like cats
snuggling  for a cuddle.

Without words we are just like tigers
feared by many or maybe just pretending to be fierce.

Without words we are just like monkeys
uncontrollably playful but there's sadness hidden.

I couldn't imagine myself without words,
for without words, there's nothing to write..nothing to say.
