Words

I read your diary today.
Spying the angry words spewed from the pages within
My mind became troubled

Your discord; Your discontent
All evident in the words of which you penned

My fault; always MY fault
Everybody's fault
Anybody's fault
Her own fault? Never, not HER

The weight of your words hang around my heart; heavy and painful
I grow weary of the weight of the world and your words

Your words are too much to rescind
I simply don't have it in me;
sanity, or otherwise to do any better.

I really like your poem and can relate to its words. I have to remind myself that sometimes words are just words . . . I encourage you to rise above the words -- they may reflect a conflict within her that she is taking out on you -- her hurtful words are crying out for your love, acceptance, -- love her! All the best.
