Words

I pen-
words that quiver with emotion and pain
telling the fragments of my life
I write rambling, twirling words
and poems I hope are beautiful
words that drip, drip from my pen as a 
                              a word
                                a thought
                                    a phrase
tumbling, whirling, swirling for freedom words
   from this word picking girl
      to create poems that can shatter hearts
         written from fragments of my life
and sent drifting into the world on wings . . .
