Word Wangler
Don't twist the words of God, my friend,
To suit your current leanings.
Don't rearrange and fashion them,
To give them certain meanings.
Don't take the Book He gave to us,
For clear, incise instruction,
And mold the words to suit yourself,
And draw your own conclusions.
You can't change the mind of God, my dear,
By rearranging phrases.
What He said remains steadfast,
Dispite the current phases.
We must abide within His laws,
They will not bend to suit us;
For God says what He means to say,
He will not just excuse us;
For if we dare to change one word,
One single line becloud,
The Book of Revelation warns,
His curse will be profound.
"FOR I TESTIFY TO EVERY MAN THAT HEARETH THE WORDS OF THE PROPHECY OF THIS BOOK. IF ANY MAN SHALL ADD UNTO THESE THINGS, GOD SHALL ADD UNTO HIM THE PLAGUES THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THIS BOOK; AND IF ANY MAN SHALL TAKE AWAY FROM THE WORDS OF THIS BOOK, GOD SHALL TAKE AWAY HIS PART OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE,
AND OUT OF THE HOLY CITY, AND FROM THE THINGS WHICH ARE WRITTEN IN THIS BOOK."
Revelation 22:18-19
