Word Morph – Cold To Warm

until our worlds collided my body was COLD
my life before you was bound in black CORD
like the colour of my cave and the mood of my WORD
now, your love brings me light, your soul is my WARD
your breath gives me strength, and your heart keeps me WARM

Like it has been said before...thank you for another challenge. It will not be an easy one, but my fellow soupers always astound me with their creative juices....your poem here is an example of that! ~ Love, Carrie

Nigel, how did you write such a beautiful poem sticking to this challenge??? I have never done anything like this before. It is indeed unique and no doubt will be very difficult. Thanks for stretching our brains (if I am even able!). Love, Shar

I must admit, that I am confused! lol excuse my thickness, but, when writing the form, do you just use the four letter words, or write a poem with the words at the end of each line, like this one? Help! Thanks, Nigel! This looks like quite the challenge! Kristin

Great poem Nigel, the depth of love is an abyss. I too have many loves but writing is one of my greatest. Best of luck in 2009...Raul
