Wooden Tales
Wooden Tales
What’s that growing on the swamp tree there?
Is it hair combing in the wind blown so long
From a bear like thing blending in with darkened bark?
We track giant prints through bush and black
And back woods with flashlights, slim jims and guns
It hides so perfectly with natural underbrush
Hunch backed and growling
Was that leaves or hair shaking in the wind
Creeping closer? What’s that moving over there?
Closing in on mortal men?
What is that moving in the forest mist?
BiG Foot is after us
We hunt it till it captures us
